About the workshop
ESPM 2018, the second workshop in the series, follows on from the ESPM 2017 workshop and from the international scientific conference held in 2015. These events gave Slovak and foreign university departments a place to present original research, which was then published as scientific articles indexed in SCOPUS and WoS and as five AAA-category scientific monographs published in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In line with the conclusions of ESPM 2015 and of the 2017 workshop, ESPM 2018 aims to keep extending and presenting the body of knowledge — research results and practical experience — on progressive technical, managerial and systemic innovation, on tools for sustainable consumption and production, green growth, Industry 4.0, intelligent industrial management and a better quality of life.

Outputs of the workshop
- Presenting the progress made in the research areas of the participating university departments and of practice abroad, above all since ESPM 2017.
- Launching two AAA-category scientific monographs published in San Antonio, Texas (USA): “Engineering sciences and Industry 4.0 — innovation potential” and “Intelligent industrial management — progressive trends”.
- Setting the themes for the second international scientific conference ESPM 2020, assessing how the Europe 2020 strategy and the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme were fulfilled.

120 €The fee covers one printed copy of the monograph, meals and refreshments during the conference.
Passive participation
50 €Publishing in a monograph
250 € / 1 AHPer AH in B5 format; the monograph is published in San Antonio, Texas (USA).
