About the workshop

The workshop is organised by the non-profit organisation Pro Enviro, n. o., together with the University of Prešov, as part of the continuing development of the ESPM series, founded in 2015 and carried forward by a number of international scientific workshops and what they have produced.

Aims of the workshop

  • Putting into practice the conclusions of the ESPM 2022 workshop.
  • Wider involvement of Slovak and foreign university and research departments, and of practitioners, in presenting and coordinating the results of their research.
  • Broadening the theoretical and methodological basis for sustainable social and economic development.
  • Transferring the results of research and innovation into business practice.

Outputs of the workshop

  • Proceedings of scientific papers from each of the thematic areas.
  • Scientific monographs published by a foreign publishing house, covering the research carried out: “Risks and prevention of social and economic crises” and “Strategic management of sustainable waste management — waste as a source of valuable raw materials”.

Registration and fees

Active participation

300 €

The fee covers accommodation, meals, the social evening, the wellness centre and the proceedings.

Passive participation

70 €

Publishing 1–3 AH in a monograph

400 € / 1 AH

The monograph is published by a foreign publishing house.
