About the workshop
The ESPM 2026 international scientific workshop is again held as part of Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2026. This year it is devoted to artificial intelligence and to sustainable environmental, economic and social innovation in industrial engineering, business management and the green economy.
As in previous years the workshop is organised by the non-profit organisation Pro Enviro, n. o., together with university departments in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
The event continues the scientific dialogue and the collaboration established by the ESPM series of international scientific workshops, which since 2015 have produced findings and recommendations for research, academia and practice.

Aims of the workshop
- Review how the recommendations of the ESPM 2025 workshop on green transformation in economics, management and industrial engineering are being put into practice.
- Strengthen international collaboration between Slovak and foreign universities, research institutes and companies, in order to coordinate and present current research on intelligent and sustainable innovation.
- Broaden the theoretical and methodological basis for intelligent engineering, business management, the green economy and green socio-economic growth.
- Support the transfer of research findings and of sustainable applications of artificial intelligence into socio-economic practice and sustainable industrial development.
